FFK signs sponsorship agreement with Raiffeisen Bank

The Football Federation of Kosovo (FFK) and Raiffeisen Bank have signed a partnership agreement under which Raiffeisen Bank becomes general sponsor of the Kosovo national team, as Futbolli.info reports.

The signing ceremony took place at the “Emerald” Hotel, in the presence of the Kosovo national team’s staff and footballers, marking Raiffeisen Bank’s return as one of the FFK’s important partners.

President Agim Ademi praised Raiffeisen Bank’s return in support of the Kosovo national team as something special, emphasising the long cooperation between the two institutions.

“Today we are coming back together with a long-standing sponsor of the Federation and of the national team. And that is Raiffeisen Bank. It is the best bank in Kosovo and a well-known bank in many parts of Europe too. Raiffeisen helped us at a time when we were not admitted, and accompanied us until a certain point when we moved on to other sponsors. And as a saying goes, ‘football unites us’. And today it is reuniting us with Raiffeisen Bank, as general sponsor of the national team. Just as you have become a brand of Kosovo, a brand of the state and of the nation, our new sponsor is also among the best brands,” Ademi said.

He further stressed that he is happy that, after lengthy negotiations between the two sides, the partnership agreement has been reached, describing it as very important.

“I hope we will continue as much and as long as possible with Raiffeisen and with the other brands we have, because you know Adidas is a world brand and Raiffeisen is a European brand. So the best always create a circle with the best,” Ademi added.

Meanwhile, the chief executive of Raiffeisen Bank in Kosovo, Anita Kovacic, said she is happy about the signing of the sponsorship agreement, highlighting the role of sport in bringing people together and the importance of teamwork, a value which, she said, closely links Raiffeisen Bank with football.

“Football brings people together, creates unforgettable moments and inspires young people who dream of representing their country in the international arena. This sport holds a special place in people’s lives in Kosovo and we are proud to continue supporting its development through our partnership with the Football Federation of Kosovo. We thank the FFK for its trust and we look forward to seeing what we can achieve together, because, just as in football, teamwork is the key to success,” the Raiffeisen Bank Kosovo chief executive said.

The new partnership agreement marks Raiffeisen Bank’s return alongside the Kosovo national team and another step in strengthening cooperation between the two institutions, as the bank is also a sponsor of the First League.
