Fire engulfs apartment in Bulqizë; disabled resident rescued in time by neighbors

A fire engulfed today (September 19) a first-floor apartment in a building in Lagja e Re, in Bulqizë, causing panic among residents.

According to preliminary information, a person with disabilities lived in the apartment, who was pulled out in time from the apartment by neighbors.

After receiving the notification, firefighters and Police services arrived at the scene, intervening to extinguish the flames and secure the area.

No other injured persons have been reported so far, while the extent of material damage remains to be determined.

The causes of the fire are not yet known. The investigative group is expected to carry out verifications at the scene to determine the circumstances and cause of the fire.
