Fire in a residential building near the promenade in Pogradec, firefighters on scene

A fire has engulfed the common areas of a residential building in the city of Pogradec, near the promenade, on Thursday afternoon.

According to reports, the flames broke out in the building’s ventilation shafts, while two fire engines and police forces have arrived at the scene and are working to extinguish the fire and secure the area.

It is learned that so far there are no reports of injured persons.

The causes of the fire are not yet known and are expected to be determined after on-site investigations.
