First teaser for “The Man With the Bag”: Arnold Schwarzenegger becomes Santa Claus in the Christmas comedy

Amazon MGM Studios released the first teaser on September 30 for the festive comedy “The Man With the Bag”, in which Arnold Schwarzenegger appears in the role of Santa Claus. The teaser, just 35 seconds long, promises a “festive heist” that will arrive on Prime Video on December 2, 2026, as Bleeding Cool reports.

At the center of the story is Santa Claus himself, who is forced to join forces with Vance (Alan Ritchson), a notorious thief from the “Naughty List”, and a rogue elf (Awkwafina). The trio must recover the stolen magic Christmas sack and save the holiday — a plot the film sells as a festive holiday heist.

Alongside them, the cast is rounded out by Jane Krakowski, Ken Jeong, Kyle Mooney, Liza Koshy, Berkeley James and Michael Cyril Creighton. The film is directed by Adam Shankman, while the screenplay was written by Allan Rice.

For Schwarzenegger, this is a return to a Christmas film almost three decades after “Jingle All the Way” (1996) — and in the teaser he seals the comeback with the words “I’m back!”, a clear nod to his legacy, as Bleeding Cool also notes.
