Former SHISH director appeals house arrest measure
The former director of the State Intelligence Service (SHISH), Vlora Hyseni, has appealed to the Special Court of Appeals Against Corruption and Organized Crime (GJKKO) over the “house arrest” security measure.
Hyseni is asking the Appeals Court to reject the prosecution’s request for the security measure and to release her.
The “house arrest” security measure against Vlora Hyseni was imposed by the GJKKO at the request of the Special Prosecution (SPAK), on charges of “disclosure of state secrets” and “supporting the perpetrator of a crime.”
Hyseni is suspected of having helped businessman Ergys Agasi while he was wanted, by passing him classified state information. Agasi was arrested on August 26, suspected of leading a structured criminal group as part of the investigations into the AKSHI affair.
