Glišić in Baljevac: Student List Is a ‘Gathering of Woman-Haters and Fraudsters’

BALJEVAC — Darko Glišić, president of the Executive Board of the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) and caretaker minister for public investments, called the Student List a “gathering of woman-haters and fraudsters” at Sunday’s pre-election rally in Baljevac (Raška municipality).

He said the elections in 35 days are a turning point between the state’s development and a return to the past. “We have 35 days left until the day we must decide whether to walk the path of economic progress, peace, stability, higher salaries, higher pensions, roads, hospitals, schools, or walk the path that means lower salaries and pensions, as these ‘scoundrels’ called the Student List inform you,” Glišić said.

He denied the presence of workers or students on the list: “They have not a single student, not a single worker, not a single farmer, nothing in it, except woman-haters,” calling the list’s representatives “recycled yellow thieves”.

He accused the Student List candidates of breaking the law, blocking roads and pressuring citizens: “Let me ask these ‘scoundrels’, these wretches, is it constitutional to block roads, attack people, go to their homes, have fun? Will you vet people, throw them out, ride over them? You are simply ‘scoundrels’, liars and fraudsters.”

Glišić said Serbia must win to protect the people and the state “from influences from abroad”.
