Haxhiu and Vitia distribute oncology packages at the Oncology Clinic in Pristina

The Acting President of Kosovo, Albulena Haxhiu, together with the Minister of Health, Arben Vitia, will distribute oncology packages as part of the activities marking Breast Cancer Awareness Month, as KosovaPress reports.

The activity is organised at the Oncology Clinic in Pristina, as part of the “Pink October” campaign, which aims to raise awareness of breast cancer and stresses the importance of early check-ups, according to KosovaPress.

During October, various awareness activities are held as part of this campaign, focusing on prevention, early diagnosis and support for people affected by this disease.

The “Pink October” campaign aims to encourage citizens, especially women, to undergo preventive check-ups and to increase health care throughout the year.
