Heavy traffic on the Elbasan–Tirana axis, kilometre-long queues of vehicles at Bradashesh

A high flow of vehicles was recorded this evening on the Elbasan–Tirana road axis, causing kilometre-long queues and long delays for drivers.

The situation is most severe near the Bradashesh roundabout, where traffic is almost paralyzed and vehicles move at very low speed.

Road Police services are on the ground working to manage traffic and ease circulation. However, the large flow of vehicles has exceeded the normal capacity of this road axis. The heavy traffic load is mainly linked to citizens returning toward Tirana.

Drivers travelling on this axis are advised to show care, respect traffic rules and be patient because of the situation that has been created.
