Inauguration of Albania’s Honorary Consulate: PM Rama Travels to Naples for the Ceremony

Prime Minister Edi Rama traveled to Italy today (September 14), where he will attend the inauguration ceremony of the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Albania in Naples.

The consulate, headed by Honorary Consul Giuseppe Lettieri, will have jurisdiction in the Campania region and will serve as a point of reference for the Albanian community, contributing to the provision of services and to strengthening economic, cultural and social cooperation between Albania and Italy.

During the visit, Prime Minister Rama will visit the Albanian Language Department at the University of Naples “L’Orientale”, as well as the “Parthenope” University, where he will attend the reception themed “Naples, a bridge of friendship, cooperation and development between Italy and Albania”.

The visit will conclude with a meeting with the rectors of Naples’ universities, where together with Minister Kumbaro the head of government will discuss opportunities for synergies with our universities in the framework of internationalization.
