Inter, Chivu: Udinese is a well-coached team

Three wins in a row, a perfect record. Chivu’s Inter has started the season as reigning champions on the right foot. Now comes the match against Udinese, decisive for consistency in the league and to bounce back after the disappointing defeat at the Bernabeu against Real Madrid in the Champions League. Here are Chivu’s words at the press conference:

On Udinese – “Prepare for these matches knowing you’re facing a well-coached, physical and quality team. Runjaic did an excellent job. Udinese always create many problems, but as always, we will do our best.”

After Madrid – “The team is calm because it wants to grow and improve. It’s still the start of the season, but I see some good things. However, if we look at the results, some criticism is fair. We don’t want to lose awareness of the good things we did against Real Madrid and Napoli.”

What needs improving – “Our last Champions League matches haven’t gone as we wanted and we need to improve in that regard. However, we now have seven more matches ahead. I saw a disappointed team because we missed an opportunity in Madrid.”
