Ismaili’s appeal to the police: Do not fall for Kurti’s political order to escalate the situation

Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) MP Uran Ismaili has reacted in connection with the protest taking place near the Kosovo Assembly.

In a statement for Klan Kosova, Ismaili called on members of the Kosovo Police not to follow, in his view, orders that could lead to an escalation of the situation.

“I would ask everyone, but most of all the police officers of Kosovo, not to fall for the orders of the Government, which is seeking to escalate the situation,” he declared.

The PDK MP expressed that, according to him, behind the recent developments stands a political order from Prime Minister Albin Kurti.

“Protect the citizens, the vast majority of whom are protesting peacefully, and do not provoke the situation. It is clear that this is a political order from Mr Kurti to escalate the situation,” Ismaili said.
