Jim Carrey marries for the third time — the actor ends his bachelorhood with Min Ah

Jim Carrey is reported to have married for the third time, to his partner of several years, Min Ah. The 64-year-old actor is said to have held a small, private ceremony in Los Angeles. According to TMZ reports, Jim Carrey and the Los Angeles-based actress and artist, also known as Minzi, said “I do” to each other in a ceremony away from media attention.

The couple made their relationship public in February, during the César Awards ceremony in Paris. Carrey, who was honoured with an Honorary César for his career, also had a special moment for his partner during his speech. The actor described Min Ah as “my sublime companion” and then publicly told her: “I love you, Min Ah.”

Carrey and Min Ah have been seen together since 2022, but for a long time they preferred to keep the relationship away from public attention. At the Paris ceremony, the couple appeared alongside the actor’s daughter, Jane Erin Carrey, 39, and her teenage son, Jackson.

If the marriage reports are confirmed, this will be Jim Carrey’s third marriage. The actor first married actress Melissa Womer in 1987. The couple stayed together until 1995 and have a daughter, Jane Erin Carrey. In 1996, Carrey married his “Dumb and Dumber” co-star Lauren Holly. Their marriage lasted only about eight months and ended in divorce in 1997.

Over the years, Carrey has had several high-profile relationships, including with actresses Renée Zellweger and January Jones, as well as a five-year relationship with Jenny McCarthy. In 2020, during an interview with Howard Stern, Carrey spoke very fondly of Renée Zellweger, with whom he had a relationship after meeting during the filming of “Me, Myself & Irene”. He described Zellweger as a person “very special” to him.
