Journalist Milaim Zeka: Here is why Rama should not have put Vlora Hyseni at the head of SHISH
Appearing on “Now with Erla Mëhilli”, journalist Milaim Zeka commented on the security measure against the former director of SHISH, Vlora Hyseni. Zeka spoke about her appointment at the head of the Albanian intelligence service, also raising questions about the reasons which, according to him, stood behind this decision.
The journalist also dwelt on Hyseni’s career in Kosovo, as well as her departure from the AKI, presenting his claims about the political circumstances which, according to him, influenced this process.
“In the SHISH case, the most fatal initial mistake was on Rama’s part, who took a person who was excellent at her job. Vlora Hyseni did excellent work in Kosovo within the AKI, but for me, Vlora Hyseni was removed for political reasons by Albin Kurti and Vjosa Osmani. And he took a person from the AKI, which was really absurd, to put her at the head of SHISH in Albania — if we are two states, legally we are two states. Therefore, on this basis, Edi Rama should not have put her at the head of the Albanian intelligence service. And I have had from the beginning, and I continue to have, my own doubts: Why did he do such a thing? Because he wanted to purge Albania’s SHISH of the people who were closely linked to Sali Berisha and the Democratic Party,” Zeka said.
