Judicial Council Meets Today in Its 557th Session: Quarterly Court Reports and Election of Presidents in Gostivar, Dibër and Sveti Nikole

The Judicial Council of the Republic of North Macedonia holds its 557th session today, with a busy agenda that includes the review and approval of the quarterly reports on the work of the courts for the April–June 2026 period, as the Macedonian Information Agency MIA reports.

Also on the agenda is the approval of the report following the competition announced for the election of the presidents of the Basic Court of Gostivar, the Basic Court of Dibër and the Basic Court of Sveti Nikole.

The Council will also review the report of the Commission for verifying the deadlines of applications and the completeness of documents following the competition for the election of the president of the Skopje Court of Appeals and the Basic Court of Struga, as well as the report from the working visit to the Skopje Basic Criminal Court.

Today’s session also foresees the election and dismissal of lay judges, as well as discussion and decision-making on the reports of the ascertained situation.
