Korce police director Vilson Bala appears at SPAK over the Ergys Agasi file

The director of Korce Police, Vilson Bala, appeared on Wednesday at the Special Prosecution Against Corruption and Organised Crime (SPAK).

Bala was summoned by SPAK in the framework of investigations linked to the file of businessman Ergys Agasi, who is under the security measure of “arrest in prison”.

According to preliminary information, the Korce police director will be questioned by the prosecutors on the case, while no details have yet been made public about the content of his testimony.

The investigations into Agasi are linked to a wide-ranging SPAK file, in which he is suspected of several criminal offences, including unlawful competition through violence, unlawful deprivation of liberty, violation of the equality of participants in tenders, a structured criminal group, money laundering and passive corruption.
