KSF and Turkish Armed Forces hold joint search-and-rescue training

As part of its cooperation with the Army of the Republic of Türkiye, the Kosovo Security Force (KSF) has carried out joint training in urban search and rescue, mountain-terrain search and rescue, and K9 operations.

The KSF said the training aimed to advance the professional knowledge and skills of participants, strengthen cooperation between teams, and exchange practical experience in search-and-rescue operations.

“During the training, theoretical and practical exercises were conducted, including search-and-rescue techniques in damaged buildings, operations in mountain terrain, the use and deployment of K9 search-and-rescue dogs, and coordination and response procedures in emergency situations.

This training contributed to increasing professional capacities, operational readiness and interoperability of teams with partners in the search-and-rescue field,” the announcement says, as Telegrafi reports.
