Land dispute in Maliq ends with one man stabbed

A conflict between two residents of the village of Sovjan in Maliq ended on Tuesday with one of them stabbed.

The dispute is reported to have started over motives linked to land ownership, and during the clash one of the men was struck with a cutting weapon.

The injured man was transported to the hospital in Korça, where he is under the care of doctors.

Police arrived at the scene and have launched an investigation to clarify the circumstances of the conflict and determine responsibility.
