Mecinoviq: SDSM has shown it has no intention of fighting the government — it coexists with VMRO-DPMNE

SKOPJE — Levica MP Amar Mecinoviq announced that Levica will take part in the “Razgovori za idninata” (Conversations for the Future) forum organized by the 12.05 platform. He said that Levica, as an opposition party, has a duty to talk with various opposition elements.

Mecinoviq spoke about the decline in living standards, over-indebtedness, crime and corruption, as well as chronic impunity between the VMRO-DPMNE and SDSM leaderships. He accused SDSM of having clearly shown that it has no intention of fighting the government and that it coexists with the VMRO-DPMNE government.

As examples, the MP cited last year’s local elections in Strumica, which — according to him — were “gifted” to VMRO-DPMNE, as well as the second round of the elections for the City of Skopje.

He stressed that Levica will continue to talk with political and social actors, independent lists and independent candidates, without giving up its left-wing positions, as 24info reports.
