Men’s volleyball / France–Poland, the big European Championship final

France–Poland is the men’s European volleyball championship final, a match to be played today at 21:00 in Milan.

Poland, the reigning continental champions, beat Slovenia in the semifinal with a clean 3-0 (25-23, 25-23, 25-18).

In the other semifinal, France triumphed 3-1 (25-17, 18-25, 25-18, 25-15) against Finland. The Poland–France clash is a repeat of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games final. The French won the gold medal, defeating the Poles 3-0 in that match.

Finland will face Slovenia in the bronze-medal match at 17:00.
