Minister Spahiu: Let’s hear and address every concern of citizens

The Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Klodiana Spahiu, shared on social media a message following the coordination meeting with the heads of primary healthcare and hospital service structures.

Spahiu emphasizes that the problems facing the healthcare system cannot be solved within a day, but underlines the importance of continuously listening to citizens’ concerns and engaging on the ground.

According to her, during the meeting with the heads of healthcare structures, uninterrupted presence on the ground, listening to concerns and daily work to address them were requested.

“Twelve hours of discussion are not enough to solve everything citizens expect from the healthcare system. But every hour spent listening, understanding and seeking solutions is an hour invested in improving care for them. In the coordination meeting with the heads of primary healthcare and hospital service structures I requested uninterrupted presence on the ground, listening to concerns, daily work to solve them and the attention every citizen deserves. Because healthcare is not just a service provided, but also the way we welcome, listen to and treat every person who seeks help,” the minister writes.
