Ministry of Interethnic Relations begins work on the Strategy for Interculturalism and Social Cohesion 2027–2032

The Ministry of Relations between Communities held a meeting today with experts for the drafting of the Strategy for Interculturalism and Social Cohesion 2027–2032, as the MIA agency reports.

As MIA reports, the aim of the strategy is to advance intercultural dialogue, strengthen social cohesion, equality and the participation of all citizens in social life, as well as to foster mutual understanding and respect between communities.

In North Macedonia, where Macedonians, Albanians, Turks, Roma, Serbs and other communities live, social cohesion and coexistence policies are considered one of the pillars of the country’s stability, especially in tense political periods.

Today’s meeting marks the first consultative step towards the strategic document for the 2027–2032 period, which will guide the country’s policies in the field of interethnic relations for the next six years.
