Novi Sad: 30-Year-Old Arrested; 1.18 kg of Cocaine and 150 g of Marijuana Found in His Apartment

Serbian police have arrested a Novi Sad resident, A.R. (30), after around 1.18 kilograms of cocaine and around 150 grams of marijuana were found in his apartment, police announced today.

During the search of the suspect’s apartment, officers also found a digital scale, a vacuum sealer and money which police suspect comes from drug sales.

A.R. is suspected of the criminal offense of illegal production and trafficking of narcotics. The court has ordered 48-hour detention and, with a criminal report, he has been escorted to the Higher Public Prosecutor’s Office in Novi Sad.

Investigations into the case continue, while police have not ruled out the possibility that the 30-year-old is part of a wider distribution network.
