One match away from the cup and 500,000 denars: Mega Liftovi and Rudi Kompani in tonight’s ‘Oliver Sokolov – Sokol’ tournament final

The final of the 22nd edition of the “Oliver Sokolov – Sokol” memorial small-sided football tournament is played tonight at 20:30 at the “Sokol” field in Skopje’s Karposh 1 neighborhood, as Plusinfo reports. In the final act, teams Mega Liftovi and Rudi Kompani face off, with the cup and the first prize of 500,000 denars at stake.

According to Plusinfo, Rudi Kompani secured its place in the final by defeating Kegi Mobi SK 77777 3:1 in the semifinal. On the other side, Mega Liftovi drew 1:1 with Juventus BS Skele and qualified after winning 4:3 on penalties.

The tournament prizes are high: the winner gets 500,000 denars, second place 250,000, third 120,000 and fourth 60,000 denars, with a total prize fund exceeding 1.3 million denars.

The “Sokol” field in Karposh traditionally gathers many small-sided football fans, and a fiery atmosphere is expected tonight. The tournament has lasted almost a month, with matches unpredictable until the final whistle.
