“Paddington The Musical” announces new West End cast: Cassidy Janson and Charlotte Wakefield join the production

The new West End cast of “Paddington The Musical” has been revealed: Cassidy Janson will play Millicent Clyde, while Charlotte Wakefield will be Mrs Brown, as London Theatre announces.

Abbie Purvis and Hassan Taj will alternate in the role of the bear himself on stage, while Sonny Monaghan will handle the voice and remote puppetry direction. The new company begins performances on 28 October at the Savoy Theatre.

The musical, with songs by Tom Fletcher and a book by Jessica Swale, is one of the West End’s successes and is currently booked at the Savoy Theatre through 13 February 2028. The new cast promises fresh energy for the story of the beloved bear who comes from Peru and finds his new home in London — a production that has won the hearts of audiences of all ages.
