PDK MP: The protest had its effect, the Government surrendered on the Specialist Chambers

PDK MP Eman Rrahmani has reacted after the Kosovo Government’s decision to send to the Assembly the Draft Law on amending and supplementing the Law on the Specialist Chambers.

Rrahmani said the Government’s decision is the result of the protest, calling for pressure to now be directed at the Assembly and at MPs to process and vote on this draft law as soon as possible.

He announced that he will vote “FOR”, describing it as the vote with the greatest weight of conscience during his four terms as an MP.

“The protest had its effect on the Government! It surrendered!

Now, the protest must direct its pressure at the Assembly and at every MP, so that the law is brought to the Assembly as soon as possible, even tomorrow, and put to a vote.

I will vote FOR!

It will be the vote with the greatest weight of conscience that I have cast during my four terms as an MP.

Now the responsibility lies with the Assembly and with every MP!”, Rrahmani wrote, as Telegrafi reports.
