Pentagon publishes sixth batch of UFO files

The Pentagon on Friday published another batch of documents, videos and images, marking the sixth release in the government’s efforts to make UFO-related data public.

The files contain video footage of objects that appeared to be swarming over Utah in 1952, as well as a 2008 spending report documenting a nearly $22 million government investigation into unexplained aerial phenomena.

The latest release follows five previous publications made after US President Donald Trump signed an executive order earlier this year instructing the government to make data relating to UFOs available to the public.

“Today, the Department of War is publishing the sixth release of declassified and historical Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP) files as part of the Presidential Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena Sensing and Reporting System (PURSUE),” Pentagon spokesperson Sean Parnell said.

He added that the Department “will publish additional files on an ongoing basis” and is actively working on the upcoming release of UAP files.
