Plisat announce the unification of all fan groups in support of the KLA leaders, Sunday at 15:00

The protests against the decision of the Specialist Chambers for the leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army are heading into their 11th day, and more and more voices from the entire Albanian society are joining them. The latest news comes from the well-known Prishtina fans, “Plisat”, who have announced they will turn out massively for the protest on Sunday, as Indeksonline reports.

Through an announcement published at midnight on their official page, “Plisat” announce that they have made a joint decision with ALL fan groups of the Albanian lands to join the protest at “Skënderbeu” square in Prishtina.

The capital’s fan group has also announced the meeting time: all fans are invited to gather on Sunday at 15:00, to join the other protesters in the square.

This reaction comes at a time when dissatisfaction with the Special Court’s verdict has caused great indignation among Albanians. The decision against Hashim Thaçi, Kadri Veseli, Rexhep Selimi and Jakup Krasniqi has caused continuous protests in Prishtina, which have entered their 11th day.

The unification of all Albanian fan groups in a common cause is seen as a strong message of unity in support of the KLA leaders, while Sunday’s protest is expected to be one of the most massive so far.
