Prime Minister Macut in London and Cambridge tomorrow: meetings with AstraZeneca, Oracle and scientists

Serbia’s caretaker prime minister, Gjuro Macut, will travel tomorrow, October 2, on a working visit to London and Cambridge, the Government of Serbia announced.

The official announcement, reported today by the Serbian daily Danas, envisages an intensive agenda focused on science, innovation and new technologies.

According to Danas, during his stay in London, Macut will meet representatives of the pharmaceutical and biotechnology giant AstraZeneca, as well as of the U.S. technology company Oracle, two of the biggest names in global industry.

In Cambridge, the Serbian prime minister will visit the University of Cambridge, where he will talk with distinguished scientists and professors of this prestigious academic institution. The aim of the visit, as stressed in the Serbian government’s announcement, is to connect Serbia with Cambridge in the fields of science, innovation and new technologies, paving the way for new academic cooperations and technological investments.
