Spajić: The ‘Euro model’ prepares Montenegro for EU membership

Montenegro’s Prime Minister Milojko Spajić has stated that the “Euro model” has been designed to prepare Montenegro for membership in the European Union in 2028.

He said the aim is for citizens to stay in the country, while those who have left return and live in Montenegro to the standard of a developed Europe.

“Our policy is not based on promises, but on concrete results and on improving the standard of living for all citizens,” Spajić said.

According to him, previous reforms have created the main guidelines for continuing the process through the “Euro model”, which has been conceived as preparation for Montenegro’s membership in the EU.
