Prostitution ‘nests’ set up in Tirana: three Vietnamese and two Chinese women arrested — they rented apartments and homes by the day

Police have arrested three Vietnamese and two Chinese women who were engaged in prostitution in daily-rental homes on “Qemal Stafa”, “Him Kolli” and “Tomor Malasi” streets.

The activity was also advertised on social media.

A Vietnamese citizen who exploited three of the arrested women, of the same nationality, has been declared wanted. Meanwhile, two citizens who profited from the illegal activity have been placed under investigation.

“During the operation, the citizens who carried out this activity in three apartments were arrested: V. P., 40, P. K., 42, and P. M., 33, all three Vietnamese, as well as L. Y., 42, and X. H., 42, both Chinese. A Vietnamese citizen, T. T., 35, was also declared wanted, as he is suspected of having provided, in exchange for profit, the conditions for this activity to be carried out by the three arrested Vietnamese citizens. Intensive work is under way to capture this citizen.”

The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecution for further action.
