Protest in Tirana on its 122nd day, march from Skanderbeg Square to the Prime Minister’s Office and anti-government speeches
Protesters gathered again this Tuesday in Tirana, marking the 122nd day of their continuing rally against government policies.
The protesters continued their ritual march along “Dëshmorët e Kombit” boulevard, opposing the tourism project in the Zvërnec area, policies on protected areas and strategic investments.
They marched along the main boulevard to stop in front of the Prime Minister’s Office building, where they continued the rally through successive speeches by activists, with calls for the government to resign.
The “Flamingo Revolution” began initially as a movement against the construction of a tourist resort in Zvërnec, but has now turned into a political protest.
