Protest Organizer Çlirim Haziri Addresses the Government: ‘What Are You Waiting For?’

The protest in Pristina against the guilty verdict of the Special Court in The Hague against the former leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army has entered its tenth day.

The protest organizer, Çlirim Haziri, addressed the protesters tonight at “Skënderbeu” square, criticizing the institutions for the lack of concrete action.

He pledged that the protest will continue regardless of weather conditions, in rain or snow, until the protesters’ voice is heard.

“Every day that passes without institutional action will make our question even stronger: what are you waiting for? What are you doing? We will continue here in this square, in snow and rain, seeking answers from the institutions through every democratic avenue that belongs to us as citizens of this country,” Haziri told those present.

His speech was accompanied by repeated calls on the government to react institutionally and to give an answer to the citizens who are protesting, Klan Kosova reports.
