“Regret for the victims of the intimate videos”, Kryemadhi: Whoever recorded and distributed them must be punished

Monika Kryemadhi reacted on Thursday regarding the intimate videos of well-known screen personalities, which have been circulating online for several days.

During her appearance at the Special Court for the next hearing, Kryemadhi was asked by journalists whether she had seen the videos, and she replied: “Yes”, adding: “Whoever recorded and distributed them must be punished.”

“Apart from the ugly feeling it left me with because of the victims, all those women or girls, whoever they are. The person who did it, whoever recorded them, but also whoever distributed them, it is a very low act and one that must be punished. What I want to say is that no one should care what a person does in their own bedroom or with their private life. And the other thing is the way we are beginning to judge problematic situations, and the whole social life of our society is terrible. To feel more violated by a porn video you watch than by high taxes, by the departure of young women and men, the depopulation of Albania, is a great misfortune and for me a national misfortune. I feel very sorry and I feel disgust for the perpetrators who did that thing,” Kryemadhi said.
