Prospect Musicals (New York) has revealed the cast of the concert “CELEBRATION: A Concert Evening of Songs from the Fred Ebb Award Winners (2015–2025)” — a special evening honoring a decade of winners of the prestigious Fred Ebb Award, as BroadwayWorld reports. The concert will take place on Thursday, 8 October, at 7:00 PM at Symphony Space, directed by Cara Reichel with musical direction by Andy Roninson, and hosted by Tony Award winner Karen Ziemba.

The cast is headlined by well-known Broadway and Off-Broadway names: Santino Fontana, Tony Award winner for “Tootsie,” Jasmine Forsberg (“Six”), Talia Suskauer (“Wicked”), Pearl Sun (“Come From Away”), Michael Maliakel (“The Great Gatsby”), Molly Hager (“Waitress”), Lauren Marcus (“Be More Chill”), Marina Kondo (“Ragtime”), Darius de Haas (“Shuffle Along”), Kim Blanck (“Suffs”), Robert Ariza (“Operation Mincemeat”), Katerina McCrimmon (“Funny Girl,” Broadway Tour), Aubrey Matalon (“Giulia”), Taylor Iman Jones (“Groundhog Day”), Jade Jones (“Bigfoot!”), Eric William Morris (“Be More Chill”), Zachary Prince (“Honeymoon in Vegas”) and Kuhoo Verma (“Heathers”), with more names to be announced.

The program will include world premieres and beloved songs from the past decade of Fred Ebb Award winners: Sophie Boyce & Veronica Mansour (2025), Cheeyang Ng & Eric Sorrels (2024), Freya Catrin Smith & Jack Williams (2023), Julia Riew (2022), Isabella Dawis & Tidtaya Sinutoke (2021), Ben Bonnema & Christopher Staskel (2020), Michael R. Jackson (Tony and Pulitzer winner, 2020), Benjamin Velez (2019), Will Reynolds & Eric Price (2018), Shaina Taub (2017) and Thomas Mizer & Curtis Moore (2016). Julia Riew will also present a new song, written together with Janani K. Jha.

The Fred Ebb Award was established in 2005 in memory of the legendary “Cabaret” and “Chicago” lyricist, to honor talented new writers of musical theatre — a tradition this concert celebrates through the voices of New York’s best-known stage stars.
