Saranda shaken! 42-year-old shot dead in the city center, a passerby also wounded

A gun attack shook the city of Saranda this morning, leaving 42-year-old Artan Myrtaj dead. The victim died instantly at the scene from the wounds sustained in the shooting.

According to early data from the scene, the perpetrators of the attack were two people wearing helmets, moving on a motorcycle. During the shooting of the 42-year-old, a random passerby was also wounded.

Police forces have cordoned off the area, set up checkpoints on the main roads and are working to comb the territory in order to identify and capture the perpetrators who fled on the motorcycle.
