‘Saw 11’ unveils first teaser: Jigsaw returns with the message ‘The Game Continues’

The first official teaser for “Saw 11”, the new chapter of the legendary horror franchise, has been released, immediately igniting fans’ enthusiasm. In the video, Jigsaw is seen slowly approaching the camera on his famous toy bicycle, in a dark room with concrete walls. After looking directly into the camera, he utters the terrifying words “The Game Continues” — before laughing maniacally off-screen.

The teaser also holds a surprise for the attentive eye. The camera pans down to the floor and reveals a script booklet clearly reading “Untitled Saw”, while the director’s name appears in the corner: “Directed by Mike P. Nelson”. The detail confirms yesterday’s news about the film’s new director, directly linking this teaser to the latest developments of the project.

Mike P. Nelson, known for the “Wrong Turn” (2021) remake and for the horror “Beware Boiúna” hitting theaters on October 2, takes the helm of the eleventh chapter of the saga. The screenplay is written by Gregory Weidman and Geoff Tock, while big names return as producers: franchise creator James Wan, Jason Blum and Leigh Whannell, writer of the original film. Executive producers are Mark Burg, Oren Koules, Stacey Testro, Michael Clear, Judson Scott, Alayna Glasthal and Sarah Paek.

So far, the film’s cast has not been officially announced, but fans are hoping for the return of Tobin Bell in the iconic role of John Kramer. “Saw 11” comes after a long wait for the saga’s followers and promises to bring back the spirit of the death-defying games.
