Serious accident on the Shkodër–Lezhë road, 83-year-old loses his life (NAME)

A serious road accident was recorded this afternoon on the Shkodër–Lezhë road, at the place called Kryebushat.

The incident occurred at around 15:30 and involved two vehicles, driven by a 67-year-old French citizen, with the initials P. L., and an 83-year-old resident of Shkodër, identified as Gjon Nikaj.

As a result of the collision, the 83-year-old was taken to the Regional Hospital of Shkodër, but could not survive his injuries and lost his life.

The 67-year-old driver was escorted to the premises of the Shkodër Local Police Directorate, where further procedural actions will be carried out.

The investigation group is at the scene and is working to fully clarify the causes and circumstances of the accident.
