She appeared in the intimate videos, the singer asks for a public apology: Today I don’t want to defend myself, I want to apologise!
Blerina Matraku has reacted publicly after the intimate-videos scandal with composer Adrian Hila.
The singer has asked for a public apology: "Today I don’t want to defend myself, I want to ask for forgiveness. I address first the public, every individual who has been shocked, hurt or felt affected by this situation. I apologise to you with humility and sincerity."
"Today I publicly beg you: ‘Enough’. Do not share any more. A mistake requires responsibility, which I am taking on my shoulders and paying for inhumanly. Pain requires respect. Enough, please. I am a human being whose privacy has been violated," the singer adds.
Blerina Matraku’s full statement:
Today I don’t want to defend myself, I want to ask for forgiveness.
I address first the public, every individual who has been shocked, hurt or felt affected by this situation…
I ask your forgiveness with humility and sincerity.
Please, for just one minute, remove from your minds those images that represent no one but violate everyone, and look beyond — a human being who is facing the greatest challenge, with the greatest social responsibility and not only that, the challenge of morality.
I am not here to justify myself, I am here to take my responsibility. I ask forgiveness for the trust I gave someone in the most vulnerable moments of my life, trust that was used against me for reasons still unknown and unidentified.
I apologise to Klaudia and her daughters for every tear or pain caused, a debt that will be paid with divine justice.
Although my privacy has been violated in the most inhumane form possible, I take responsibility for my actions, as if I were paying for them with my life.
I am simply an artist of a low artistic profile, without fame, awards or support, a woman who unfortunately has faced life’s challenges alone and who has had to smile with the pretext that the tears in her eyes were tears of joy…
Today I publicly beg you, "Enough,"
Do not share any more…
A mistake requires responsibility, which I am taking on my shoulders and paying for inhumanly.
Pain requires respect.
Enough, please.
I am a human being whose privacy has been violated…
Humbly,
Blerina Matraku
I hope I convey the message, because it is very difficult to find the thread in these moments.
