She ran prostitution in a rented apartment, Brazilian woman arrested in Shkodër! A 40-year-old also in handcuffs

Two people have been arrested by police in Shkodër. Police say that among those arrested is a 29-year-old Brazilian woman who had made a rented apartment available for prostitution and the sale of narcotics.

A 40-year-old man was also caught at the moment of the operation, suspected of having profited from the illegal activities.

“Shkodër / The operation codenamed ‘Rent home 10’ is finalized. A Brazilian citizen is arrested, who had made the apartment she rented in the ‘Ahmet Haxhia’ neighbourhood available for prostitution and the sale of narcotics.

Also in handcuffs is a citizen, a beneficiary of the criminal activities, who was caught in this premises.

Quantities of the narcotics Cocaine and Cannabis Sativa are seized, as well as a sum of money (in euros and in lek).

As a result of several days of investigative actions, carried out by specialists of the Sector for the Investigation of Narcotics, in order to document a rented apartment being made available by a foreign citizen for criminal activities, the operation codenamed ‘Rent home 10’ was finalized, within which the Brazilian citizen, L. S., 29 years old, and the citizen N. H., 40 years old, resident in Shkodër, were arrested.

During the intervention in the apartment rented by the 29-year-old, in the ‘Ahmet Haxhia’ neighbourhood, it was found that the premises had been adapted for prostitution and for the sale of the narcotics Cocaine and Cannabis Sativa. The 40-year-old was also caught in this premises, suspected of having profited from the illegal activities.

The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecution, for further actions,” police announce.
