Spain: Ferran Torres withdraws, Carlos Espi called up to the senior team

One withdrawal and one call-up from the Under-21 team for the Spanish national side. For the upcoming Nations League matches against the Czech Republic and Croatia, Luis de la Fuente will not have Ferran Torres available, because of a minor injury to his left ankle.

To replace the World Cup hero, the Spanish coach has brought in Carlos Espi from the youth set-up — a Real Madrid forward who has just scored four goals against San Marino in the European Championship qualifiers for that age group.

Spain lead Group C with maximum points after two matches, following victories over England and Croatia.
