Spectacle in Surdulica: Radnik 4–4 Partizan — the black-and-whites played an hour with ten men

Radnik and Partizan drew 4–4 last night in Surdulica, in the 10th-round duel of the Serbian SuperLiga, in one of the most spectacular matches of the season.

The black-and-whites were left with ten men in the 35th minute, after Milan Vukotić was sent off, but managed to show great character in the second half of the match.

Partizan coach Saša Ilić was not in the mood for many words after the match: “The first half was extremely poor, we played the second more than well. The team showed character with ten players, I thank the fans for their great support.”

His counterpart on the home bench, Zoran Rendulić, admitted he was not satisfied with the result: “After 90 minutes and the reaction of my players, I have to say that the club came into a situation of not being satisfied with this result, but this can also be good.”

“We came back twice from 3–1, after 20 perfect minutes in the first half, but I have the impression that the young team got a little scared of winning. We came back again to 4–3, we conceded three inexplicable goals in the second half. This break will do us good and I believe it will come back to us somewhere, even against Zemun,” Rendulić added.
