Student Movement Launches Vojvodina Tour to Present 11-Point “Student Plan”

The student movement today begins its regional tour to present the “Student Plan” — the 11-point program of the “Studentska lista – Studenti pobeđuju” list for the snap parliamentary elections of October 25. The tour starts today in Vojvodina, continues tomorrow in the east of the country, moves west on September 17, south on September 18, and wraps up on September 19 in Belgrade and central Serbia.

During the tour, citizens will have the chance to symbolically sign the plan and meet the student list’s candidates in person. Organizers emphasize that direct contact with voters is essential for presenting their political alternative.

The Student Plan is divided into three parts: “Serbia or the Mafia,” “The Power of Knowledge” and “Serbia Grows With Us.” The 11-point document sets out the student movement’s vision for systemic change in the country, from fighting corruption to investing in education and development.

The snap parliamentary elections in Serbia are held on October 25, while the student list aims to turn the energy of recent months’ protests into institutional representation.
