The Ronaldo issue / Zidane: We must appreciate his great career
When asked about Cristiano Ronaldo’s situation with the Portuguese national team, Zinedine Zidane chose to avoid the topic, expressing only words of praise for the 41-year-old.
“We must appreciate his great career,” said the France coach ahead of the Nations League match against Belgium.
“I was lucky enough to coach him. He helped me win many titles. I take my hat off to Cristiano Ronaldo. I have always had great respect for those I have spent time with,” Zidane said.
