Legislation Committee to review the Specialist Chambers law tomorrow at 08:00

The Legislation Committee will meet on Monday, October 5, to review the Draft Law on amending and supplementing the Law on the Specialist Chambers and the Specialist Prosecutor’s Office.

The meeting will be held at 08:00, in hall N-10 of the Assembly of Kosovo.

According to the announcement by the chairman of the Legislation Committee, Vigan Qorrolli, the agenda is the review of the draft law, after the committee was tasked with handling it.

During the meeting, the legal aspects of the draft law are expected to be reviewed, in line with the Constitution, the legislation in force and parliamentary procedures.

The announcement says that MPs and the media are invited to attend the meeting.

The review of this draft law comes at a time when there have been calls for the changes to the Law on the Specialist Chambers to be processed and approved, as Telegrafi reports.
