Vladimir Lučić in a video message to the diaspora: register to vote by October 3
Students of the “Students Win” movement (student list) have published a video message with well-known Serbian basketball player Vladimir Lučić, addressing Serbs living abroad, as Nova.rs reports. Lučić, former Partizan captain and Serbia international, now plays for Bayern Munich.
In the message, as Nova.rs transmits, the basketball player calls on the Serbian diaspora to register for voting in the October 25 parliamentary elections, with the registration deadline on October 3 — meaning only seven days remain.
“Hello everyone, I am Vladimir Lučić, a Bayern Munich player, and I want to invite all people living abroad to register for voting in the upcoming elections by October 3. For the first time in the diaspora, at ukljucise.info you can find all the necessary information as well as local teams you can turn to for questions or local help. Register by October 3, and then on October 25 go out and vote,” he says in the video message published by the students.
According to RIK data, cited by Nova.rs, 44,141 voters in 61 countries have registered for voting abroad so far. Registering on time is the only condition for Serbs abroad to exercise their right to vote on October 25.
