Vlora Çitaku elected deputy speaker of the Assembly from PDK

Vlora Çitaku has been elected deputy speaker of the Assembly of Kosovo from the ranks of the Democratic Party of Kosovo.

Having failed in previous sessions to secure the votes needed for the post, Çitaku finally got them.

With 95 votes in favor, none against and no abstentions, she was elected deputy speaker from the PDK ranks.

The Assembly also unanimously adopted, with a joint voice from the parliamentary groups, the declaration against the Specialist Chambers’ verdict, in defense of the KLA, Telegrafi reports.
