Vučević in Bački Petrovac: ‘United Serbia’ — an answer to divisions and violence; condemns violence against women
The leader of the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS), Miloš Vučević, campaigned in Bački Petrovac, Vojvodina, ahead of the snap parliamentary elections to be held on October 25, as the Serbian newspaper Blic reports.
Speaking before his supporters, according to Blic, Vučević declared that the electoral list “Aleksandar Vučić – United Serbia” is, in his words, an answer to divisions and violence — “a list that respects all citizens of Serbia”.
He condemned the recent case of violence in Kula, Vojvodina, saying that such events must not be met with silence, especially when it comes to violence against women.
Vučević also spoke about the country’s economic policy, criticizing the positions of several rival candidates on the dinar exchange rate.
In the end, the SNS leader called on citizens to freely decide in the elections what is best for them: “the voice of the people must be respected”.
