Vučić challenges Srdanović to a televised duel again: “If you win, will you impose sanctions on Russia?”

Aleksandar Vučić, leader of the “Aleksandar Vučić – United Serbia” list, on Tuesday once again challenged Ilija Srdanović, leader of the Student List, to a televised debate, through a video posted on Instagram during his tour of eastern Serbia, as Nova.rs reports.

“Dialogue and debate are always useful. You, from the so-called Student List, do not owe an answer to me, but to Serbia and its citizens,” said Vučić, who during the campaign visited Mount Miroč and Kladovo, near Majdanpek.

“I ask the head of the so-called Student List — I say so-called because there are no students there — Mr. Srdanović, whether he will finally accept participation in a televised debate, because I consider it very important that people hear different opinions. And if not, then let him answer the question: if you win, will you impose sanctions on the Russian Federation? Just answer me that, not with phrases like ‘we will maintain good relations,’ ‘we will take care of energy’; tell people what your plan is, if you have one at all, but tell them honestly,” Vučić said in the video.

“I do not think that Mr. Srdanović is personally afraid to take part in a debate with me; he is afraid because he has no answers, or because those answers would be completely wrong,” he concluded.

According to Nova.rs, during the visit to Miroč near Majdanpek, Vučić also announced a project for a fast road to Brza Palanka.
