Vučić hands over presidential duties and launches election campaign from Jajinci

Aleksandar Vučić has formally handed over his duties today to National Assembly Speaker Ana Brnabić, who assumes the role of acting president, as NS Uživo reports citing the Tanjug news agency. From today, Vučić begins direct talks with citizens across Serbia and the campaign for the October 25 parliamentary elections, as the lead candidate of the list “Aleksandar Vučić – Ujedinjena Srbija,” as an ordinary citizen.

He launches the battle from Jajinci, “in the same way as in 2012,” according to the announcement published by NS Uživo. In his speech, Vučić said: “From today I will spend a lot of time with you, dear citizens of Serbia. I want to keep listening to you, I want to see what you have to reproach me for, to see even better all my mistakes.”

Tonight at 8 p.m. he will go LIVE on TikTok (“Ja sam Aleksandar”) and Facebook (“Aleksandar Vučić”) to discuss all key political topics, NS Uživo reports citing Tanjug.

Meanwhile, Vučić said that former officials of the Democratic Party are hiding behind the student list.
