Vučić: “We never steal” — pledges to defend the electoral will; institutions will stop anyone who tries to change it by force

Aleksandar Vučić, the leader of the “Ujedinjena Srbija” (United Serbia) list, said last night in a live broadcast on TikTok and Facebook, after daytime visits to the Braničevo district, that the people are determined to defend the electoral will and that his list is ready to do so, as Danas reports, citing the N1 broadcast. According to him, more and more people want to turn out to vote to prevent the victory of “those who would destroy the country.”

“We are fully ready to defend the electoral will, and we will defend the electoral will. We do not steal, we have never stolen. They do. And all of them. Half of their representatives on the list are old representatives, old politics, old regime — they stole, stole and plundered this country to exhaustion,” Vučić said.

He added that he and his list have always recognized and respected every election result, negative or positive, before the people. According to him, his opponents do not understand this because they move within “the boundaries of their own corruption,” while citizens, he said, no longer turn out only because they love Vučić or the list, but to prevent the victory of those who “would destroy the country.”

Regarding the election night of October 25, Vučić said the competent institutions would defend and safeguard the result if needed. “If there is a need, if someone tries to overturn it by force, we will defend it, we will safeguard it. And there will be no announcement of results, because I never rush the announcement of results,” he said.
